The London Road Community Centre, in Holyhead, "Working with the community, for the community" . The Centre was opened in November 2006, It offers an array of facilities for local residents and businesses alike. The Centre has been funded by the European Union's Objective 1 programme, and prides itself on offering something for everyone! All rooms are disabled friendly, we have a disabled persons lift for access on the first floor.2

We also have a fully equipped small office to lease out. The facilities include computer, desk, filing, telephone, and Internet access at a very reasonable rate, with the other centre facilities close to hand. 27/05/2010

Over 50's Club the 2nd Monday of every month from 1:30pm until 3:30pm. Past activities have included gardening, parchment craft, watercolour painting, card making as well as trips away. Penrhos Players - An amateur theatrical group from North Wales who have been in existence over ten (10) years, performing in both variety and competition drama. Their time is roughly divided between three seasons, New Year to April is the competition season for both local and area festivals as far afield as Liverpool and Manchester, having a few successes along the way. From April to mid July they concentrate on variety shows mixing music and comedy, and then Christmas is the Pantomime season. Rehearsals are held in the London Road Community Centre every Tuesday at 7:00pm and new members are very welcome. Support and help is offered to all who come along to maximise their talents. After School Acitvities Group  is held every Wednesday between 5:30pm and 7:30pm for children between the ages of 5 and 10 years old. It might also be continuing through the Summer with trips locally planned. Holyhead Cancer Support Group hold meetings every Thursday 10:30am until 3:30pm at the London Road Community Centre. The group of volunteers offer support to those who suffer from cancer. Local transport can be arranged, contact Heather on (01407) 860794 for more information.

Christmas in a box 2010 - Pay weekly towards your Christmas food shopping and have all your fresh fruit, vegetables, salad, meat and trimmings ready for you in one place for £65. For £6.60 extra you can also have your bara brith and mince pies home made.

Project Lydia holds youth clinics offering a full range of contraception and health advice through meetings held at the London Road Community Centre every Wednesday and Thursday between 3:30pm and 5pm. These clinics are run informally on a drop-in basis by qualified staff.
